; Synyster Gates

Synyster Gates is the lead guitarist from Avenged Sevenfold and his real name is Brian Elwin Haner Jr. The name Elwin is.. quite a name.. might have to name my first kid that. Synyster Gates studied as a musician in Hollywood until he got a call from the Rev, who is the drummer in Avenged Sevenfold, asking if he wanted to be the lead guitarist. Synyster Gates said yes, of course, i mean who would give up that opportunity. He joined the band at the age of eighteen and he won an award in 2006 for the guitarist of the year. Thats a huge honor and i see why he got it, because he's friggin' awesome and i love the way he plays. It was said that up until he started studying as a musician he was self taught by watching music videos and stuff. I find it really cool that he taught himself and turned out to be a great guitarist. The first picture is of him today, and the next one is a picture of him in highschool. haha.. what a great picture.

    for all the slow people reading this article, a fedora is a men's felt hat that is creased lengthwise down the crown and pinched in the front on both sides. The creasing does not define the hat, however. Fedoras can also be creased with teardrop crowns, diamond crowns, center dents, and others, and the positioning of pinches can vary if they are found at all. :)
